Christmas in New Market First Saturday in December

Our charming town of New Market celebrates Christmas every December with a community parade and an outdoor Christmas market. Santa joins the fun until it’s time for him to hop on the fire truck to light our community Christmas tree.

Our Tree Lighting Ceremony is reminiscent of a Hallmark movie, complete with kids caroling and Santa rolling in majestically atop a bright red fire truck to magically light the tree.

The Playhouse opens our doors and says Merry Christmas with $5 admission that includes cookies and cocoa for the kids, wine for the grownups, and our annual tradition of sock snowmen crafting for everyone!
