Local Author and Illustrator Book Talk! Sunday, March 12 at 1pm

Join us as local author Kelly Beins and illustrator Christine Tucille-Merry, present their new book Ovis Has Trouble with School.Kelly is a veteran pediatric occupational therapist and specializes in work with children who have sensory processing disorder.

Ovis is a young sheep who struggles with baffling behaviors unitl he learns successful strategies that help address his needs and challenges associated with sensory processing disorder.

The book is designed to engage children and parents through an authentic plotline and a creative use of simple yet relatable illustrations drawn by Tucille-Merry.

The event includes a brief presentation about sensory processing disorder and the sensory benefits of reading, followed by informal Q&A time. Children will be invited to craft their own puppet version of Ovis! This program is included with regular admission. No reservations required.
